I have been in the industry since I was 19.  I love it and knew early on that one day, I would be a restaurant owner.  I really never thought about doing anything else.

I graduated from Indian Hill High School in 2001 and went to college like everyone else did.  After about a year, I started working at Kenwood Country Club.  This was my first job in the service industry and I fell in love with it.  After a couple years as a server, I quickly worked my way up and became the dining room manager before I was 25.  Working there gave me all of the tools I have now.  I had a 4 year old son at this point who I never got to see due to the long hours my job required of me.  After 6 years I moved on to bartend at a local bar.  During one of my shifts, in walked McNeil Ryan.  He had a Bell's Oberon, paid and left me his business card.  I didn't immediately go running to Mac's, it was about a year before I drove down to Clifton and filled out an application.  The owner of our Fairfax location, David Rinderle hired me on the spot and the rest is history.  I have been an employee of Mac's in Clifton since July of 2010 and here my husband and I are opening the 4th location!!  The people I've met and things I've learned working there are priceless.  The Mac's brand isn't a job, it really is a second family.

Jeremy (my husband) and I started talking to Mac about opening one about 3 years ago, when Jeremy started working at Mac's in Clifton.  We looked at various locations for the past year and a half and were lucky to see the Mainstrasse location.  We first looked at it in early December of 2014 and closed on the property in August of 2015.  We are all excited to bring the Mac's brand across the river into Kentucky!  The food and drinks are great and the atmosphere is fun for all ages.
